By accessing or using cyclingevents.online (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Cyclingevents ("we," "us," or "our").
Cyclingevents is a platform that enables users to discover, create, and share cycling events and group rides. The Service displays events on an interactive map and provides tools for event management, RSVPs, and community interaction. We act solely as a platform provider and are not an organizer, sponsor, or participant of any events listed.
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
"User Content" means any content you submit, including event listings, descriptions, files (GPX, PDF), route links, and profile information.
You agree not to:
Cyclingevents is a platform for listing cycling events and does not organize, verify, or endorse any events. We are not responsible for the accuracy of event information, the safety of events, or any damages arising from your participation in events found through the Service. You participate in all events at your own risk. Always exercise appropriate caution and follow local traffic laws and safety regulations.
Certain features may require payment (e.g., premium event listings). All payments are processed through Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms of service. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time with reasonable notice.
The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Cyclingevents and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
Strava, Google, Facebook, Meta, Garmin, Wahoo, Komoot, and all associated logos and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Cyclingevents is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these companies. Their names and logos are used on this Service solely for identification and informational purposes, such as indicating OAuth login providers and supported route platforms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cyclingevents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or loss of data. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any event listings or user content.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cyclingevents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the applicable national laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email to registered users. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
